Course Description: Physics is often referred to as the most basic of all the sciences. It is about the most fundamental nature of things in our physical universe, such as motion, forces, energy, heat, sound, light, and the basic composition of matter. All other sciences are specific applications of the concepts of physics. If you can understand the mechanisms by which the universe functions — the set of rules that govern all interactions in the universe — then you can understand all other sciences.
