Mi Cuento Original "My Orginal Story":
Description: In this end-of-year project, we wrote and illustrated an original story using the vocabulary we learned throughout the year.
Reflection: I had a lot of fun with this project, we had to create a story that we thought of and express it in a Spanish story. My story is about my frog named Hopper who attempts to find his lost plant. While the story is kind of silly it shows just how much I had grown at learning a new language this year.
Course Reflection
This year I have learned an overwhelming amount of knowledge about Spanish speaking, Spanish cultures, and songs and stories in Spanish. I have grown the most in Spanish speaking and writing, at the beginning of the year I came into this class with very little knowledge of Spanish. I wasn't sure what to expect from this course, but we started learning some basic Spanish words and phrases. I was then introduced to Spanish cultures where we learned about their traditions and music. I've also grown a lot with writing in Spanish, even if I don't always spell something correctly I have still produced some stories that I'm proud of. I plan on taking Spanish 2 next year and I'm excited to see where it will take me down the road.
